Structured group runs are held every Sunday throughout the year. The group meets between 6:30am and 7:30am depending on the time of year. You must be on the group email list to get exact time and location. Fill out this FORM to get added to the email group. Email the program directors programs@hillstriders.com for any questions.
Marathon Training
Routes and track workouts will be sent out in advance. We will be following our own training program, However, weekly runs are based on Hal Higdon's Novice Marathon training program for Chicago Marathon in October All extra mileage for intermediate/Advanced training is done before or after the group run.
Regular Group Fun Run/Walks
Routes are usually picked the morning of. Some Runs coincide with the Marathon training to which we run to the first water stop and back usually 5-6 miles ant start at 7:30. Refer to the emails for locations / start time
The route is planned to include several water stops including a recovery stop. Every participating member is asked to sign up for one or more stop
